Hi, I'm Hasan. I'm a frontend-focused full-stack product engineer; products start in the browser, often continue in the pocket, and I treat both with the same seriousness.
Over the last two years I led the team that built the FLY AI and Export AI platforms from scratch at AI PORT: Next.js frontends, Java Spring Boot backends, MongoDB, LLM pipelines and the Dev/QA/Prod Docker infrastructure. I ran sprint planning for a team of four for fourteen months; code review, security layers (JWT, 2FA) and technical debt were on my desk.
Before that I founded Vak'a with a friend: a React Native journaling app that matches people by mood, shipped to the Apple and Google stores. Side projects and freelance work get the same discipline: one source of truth, measurable outcomes, written decisions.
How I work
The principles above are not decoration; every case file's decision log carries their trace. AI-assisted development (Cursor, Claude) is a daily tool, but I read the model's code the way I read my own.
Outside work
I studied physics at İzmir Institute of Technology; as mechanical team captain of the AVCI ROKET team at Teknofest we placed 6th and 16th among more than 400 teams in the High Altitude Rocket Competition — twice on the podium list. That is where I learned what building a whole system, outside software, feels like.
TODO: A short personal touch (hobbies, interests).
